Well written summary. Reads well, and the arguments are fairly presented (though one-sided). David Quammen is a gifted writer but I think your article puts his recent New York Times piece to shame. He just can't see his way to turn away from his pals.

I believe that the method most likely to find any purchase on the exact happenings inside the US biomedical establishment is for the Attorney General of the United States to empanel a "blue ribbon" grand jury consisting persons with sufficient scientific training to be able to understand the testimony. The US Attorney presenting the case would have the power to grant testimonial immunity to the witnesses. The purpose of the jury should be to investigate the origins of the SARS-COV-2 virus and report on the role of public institutions in the US in its creation and in covering up investigations of their role in the matter.

Grand juries have enormous investigative powers that Congress does not have. For instance a judge in a grand jury investigation may order the immediate arrest and jailing of a balky witness. Congress's procedures in that regard are easy to stonewall.

Given the length of time since these events, it is likely that few, if any, indictments would follow because the statutes of limitations make successful prosecution unlikely. But, it may be that St. Anthony Fauci could be indicted for perjury in his testimony before Congress particularly when Sen. Rand Paul examined him before a Senate Committee in 2022.

Big NYTimes article this week: "We still don’t know how the pandemic started. Here's what we do know — and why it matters."

I think he is trying to tell us that the whole controversy is our fault because we are mistrustful ungrateful little turds who do not respect our betters. Or something like that.

Thank you for your work.

If you manage to discover something: We need similar info for the origins of Morgellon's, a previous biolab horror from the early 2000's with the US gov being heavily implicated. Their method of dealing with the disaster at the time was to put out an orchestrated smear campaign to claim the condition didn't exist and that patients were 'delusional', language which was propagated to every media / online / medical source and persists to this day. Their second action strategy was to quietly move gain-of-function labs overseas to places like Wuhan and Ukraine, where various biolab outbreaks continued to circulate. As of yet, there is still no information as to what Morgellon's is, how it is contagious, and who is responsible for it. The first patient was a 2-year-old child of a biolab employee on the East Coast; outbreaks that derailed the lives of tens of thousands of families were especially concentrated in Texas, California, and Florida.
